I said goodbye to Michael Phelps today. :( It was... sad. He's not racing tomorrow because he let Crocker take his place on the relay even though he beat Crocker in the 100-m Fly. *hugs Michael* IT really looked like Crocker was going to take it, but (and this is what the LJ fans call him) Speedo ripped in there at the last second to take the gold. Speedo. It rhymes with Thorpedo. Which the slash-bitches love. *eye twitches* The man of the moment in my book is Gary Hall, Jr., whom i like to refer to as BADASS GARY! He's so BADASS! In his interview he's all like "People say i'm too old to win the gold. But tell me i can't. I dare you." And he got this angry look on his face like the kind Vince gets right before he mock-kills you. And then he appeared for his race decked out in his usual American flag robes like a prima donna. He's not that hot. But my god. He's so badass. BADASS GARY! :D Yes... so... um. Not a lot happening in the world of Olympics today, but some stuff happening in the world of Alice and Andrea, freaky deaky Michael Phelps fans. Hahahaha... speaking of freaky deaky Michael Phelps fans, guess which gold medalist has a crush on him? CARLY PATTERSON! It's like... the most adorable thing i've ever heard of in my entire LIFE. IT sounds like the making of a great romantic comedy: "She's 4 foot 9. He's 6 foot 4. Can they make it in the world together?" Well, if you think about it... she's a gymnast, and she can jump really high to kiss him... if that doesn't work, Michael Phelps is clumsy on land so if they both swim in the water, they'll be the same height... and i'm putting too much thought into this, so i think i'll stop. So... since today is the last day of Michael Phelps... We have to say good-bye with great pomp and circumstance. But first, a few pictures from the past few days in the world of Olympics... and some random pics.


SUPER BEAST! I mean, i nearly fell over LAUGHING when Alice showed me this picture. It's the funniest thing i've ever seen in my entire life. Jeez... *whispers* My MOTHER likes Ian Thorpe... >.<


Blaine Wilson. Cuz he's hot. It was tragic how he fell of the high bar... :\ But he's STILL HOT! *tssss*


Carly Patterson... *giggles like a school girl* She has a crush on Michael Phelps! It's so cute i'm not even jealous.


Phelps' gold from yesterday... in the IM. "1, 2, baby!" :)

Him and his newest gold medal... Neither the Flying Dutchman nor the Russian Rocket (Popov) made it into the finals... a major bummer. BUT BADASS GARY! *MUAH!* *MUAH!* Those were cheek kisses, btw.


I think Aaron Piersol and Markus Rogan are so cute. I would love to have a best friend relationship like Piersol and Rogan... who would NOT have accepted the gold medal if Piersol hadn't gotten it. He's also the one who encouraged Piersol to appeal for the gold. :) They're so cute. In a non-sexual sort of way.

And now... the Michael Phelps farewell! *blows a kiss* *waves*

I thought this picture was REALLY CUTE. Um... but yeah, it was just for a sunglasses commercial. Amanda Beard is actually going out with one of the guys from the South African swim team, Ryk Neethling (Alice and i got the Vanity Fair we've been lusting after for the past week... IT'S HOT!)


I like it and think it's cute, but Erica and Alice don't like this pic. *Shrug*


Oh em gee... it's like they're ALL NAKED. hahahaha. I like Piersol, too.

It's cool. I like it. Because he's so graceful in water, so graceless on land. You can tell. I'm surprised he hasn't tripped and fallen yet. :X


Crap. I had a picture i titled "baby Phelps" but i think i forgot to save it. :( It's just him when he was paler, younger, and not as muscle-y. I was going to compare it to this one. This is Alice's favorite pic. It's hot.

And that's it. I had no special thing prepared since i thought Michael would be swimming tomorrow, but as he is not... i bid him a tearful goodbye, and a "SEE YOU AT THE NEXT OLYMPICS!" *blows kiss*

Now i'm ready to watch Toby Stevenson, pole-vaulter! :D
