Okay. So i'm disappointed. A little. But, i mean, freestyle is Thorpe and van den Hoogenband's event. It's their THING. Their NICHE. Phelps kicked ass just be getting bronze. I mean, he was right up there with those two all the way. So. Still. He medaled. That's good enough for me. :) But now that i look at pictures from the event, Pieter van den Hoogenband is seriously the best looking of the three, and, um, i was talking to my cousin about that, and sort of made up innappropriate nicknames for Thorpe and van den Hoogenband. But they're not REALLY MEAN. I like them all. I just hate my little brother, who thinks Thorpe is the shit. Seriously, Thorpe is the best freestyler, but Phelps kicks his ass at all-around swimming. That's why he holds the record for the 400 IM. DUMBASS! Okay so back to van den Hoogenband and Thorpe. nicknames: Beauty and the Beast. No. Seriously. Come on, now. No bitterness. YESTEDAY, there was bitterness. But today there isn't. OMG. Don't get me started on the USA men's basketball team. Jeebus... Okay, but i have pictures! Screencaps that Alice found for me. That's it for today's picture dump. The next big race will probably be the 800M medley relay. I hope they use Gary Hall, Jr. for the finals this time. As well as the 100M butterfly... *crosses fingers* American vs. American in this one... Phelps vs. Crocker.
